🌱 Community Planting Day at Wollam Gardens🌱
Spring is waking up at the farm, and we’d love your help getting the season started!
Join us Saturday, March 21 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM for a Community Planting Day at Wollam Gardens. We’ll spend the morning planting seeds and plugs that will grow into the flowers you’ll see blooming across the farm this season.
This is a relaxed, hands-on morning for anyone who enjoys being outside, connecting with nature, and lending a hand to a local farm.
What to know:
🌿 Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🌿 Location: Wollam Gardens
🌿 Cost: Free and open to the community
What to wear & bring:
• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes
• Farm-appropriate shoes (things may get a little muddy!)
• A pair of gardening gloves
That’s it! You don’t need to bring tools or plants. We’ll provide all seeds, plugs, tools, and planting materials.
Food & Refreshments:
We’ll fire up the grill around lunchtime with hot dogs and a veggie option, along with refreshments for everyone helping out.
A little thank you from us:
Everyone who participates will be able to take home a couple of plugs or seedlings to plant in their own garden.
Whether you stay the whole time or just come lend a hand for a bit, we’d love to see you. It’s a great way to meet neighbors, spend time on the farm, and help kick off the growing season.
