Wollam Gardens welcomes volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. We can always use more helping hands, and if you’re interested in learning, we can help teach you about proper planting techniques, weeding and beautifying, how and when to harvest particular flowers, and demonstrate how to make simple arrangements. We need and want farmer’s market helpers in Arlington Virginia (at the Courthouse) every other Saturday, and Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market (at the Q St. metro stop) each Sunday. We’d love volunteers for the festivals we host, and all of you all who are social media savvy, we definitely want your creative thoughts about how to spread the message of flowers, beauty and joy!!
