Announcing a Spectacular 2023 En Plein Air Seasonal Series
in Virginia’s Northern Piedmont
Attention, All Artists!
To help celebrate a grand and glorious 2023 all year long, we invite you to follow the French impressionist En Plein Air tradition of creating art in the out-of-doors in a seasonal series. Spend the day at four gorgeous locales in Culpeper and Madison Counties to capture the beauty of each season in Virginia’s Northern Piedmont.
We’ve structured this for regional artists as a series of four seasonal sessions – winter, spring, summer and fall -- at a flower farm and three different vineyards. The series will culminate in a Grand Exhibition and Gala that will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Revalation Vineyards, where the beautiful artwork created throughout the year will be showcased and sold.

Here’s how it works:
Artists may register for single dates or choose to paint at all locations.
Registration for each session is $35 per artist, and includes lunch. (Artists are welcome to invite friends and other art appreciators, but they will need to bring their own lunches.)
The registration deadline for each session is 48 hours prior.
A discounted registration fee for all four sessions is $100, and also gains these artists a free ticket to the October Grand Exhibition & Gala. The deadline for this is two weeks prior to the Winter session (THIS DATE HAS PASSED).
Tickets to the Gala will be sold starting in May.
